The Comprehensive Assistance Program (CAP) is a structured approach to begin your Journey to Excellence. The Journey To Excellence is the series of events required to transform your company to into an excellent enterprise. Your Journey will be based on the Enterprise Excellence Methodology and unique to your needs. The objective of CAP is to provide small companies with the knowledge, skills and methods required continue your Journey beyond our assistance period. Our strategy - Over 8-10 months, the Enterprise Excellence Team will lead, train and coach your company through the Enterprise Excellence Methodology customized to meet your needs. Weekly meetings with managers, supervisors and operators are held to deliver the knowledge and develop the skills necessary to begin and continue your Journey To Excellence. In CAP, you will receive one-on-one assistance from a team of staff, faculty and student engineers who have assisted over 30 small companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth area over the past 6 years. In addition, we facilitate weekly workshops to raise your awareness of new manufacturing philosophies and to encourage networking among small manufacturers. Your transformation to an excellent enterprise begins with the following steps:
Your team of decision makers will work one-on-one with Enterprise Excellence Team members to assess your companys internal and external environments. Armed with this information, your team will develop a vision of what your company aspires to become and strategic plan to pursue it. Your team will learn how to plan and work together as the plan is constructed. The Enterprise Excellence Team will assist you in implementing your plan by facilitating meetings, training employees and providing technical advice. Your results will depend our your commitment to excellence. Past participants in the Comprehensive Assistance Program have used the Enterprise Excellence Methodology as a springboard for dramatic bottom-line results. Examples:
