Graff received a B.S. in Biology and an M.E. in Bioengineering
from the University of Utah in 1991 and 2000, respectively.
From 2000 to 2005 he worked as a Research Scientist
in the Micro Instrumentation Research Laboratory
at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he
received a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering
for developing a microfluidic, MEMS-based, particle
separation device with integrated electrical and
optical detection. He joined ARRI in January 2006
as a Faculty Associate Researcher, and conducts research
in microfluidic medical devices, health monitoring
