Satya Kudapa holds a BE in Production Engineering from Madras University, India and a MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is currently pursuing his PhD from the Industrial & Manufacturing Systems Engineering department at The University of Texas at Arlington with a focus on Integration & Adaptation of Enterprise Modeling tools specifically applicable to Medium-to-Small manufacturing industries.

Since 2003, he worked at Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center in various positions, first as a Research Assistant and later as a Field Engineer/Business Consultant. He has worked with over 30 industries in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, assisting with implementation of process improvements, facility layouts, utility studies, and implementation of Lean technologies & tools. He has also conducted various Lean workshops such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen and SMED. Since 2006, he has worked primarily in the area of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and implementation of Quality Management Systems. He is also one of the lead coaches at TMAC in Basic & Advanced SPC along with the implementation of QMS systems. Currently he is assisting various departments at the City of Dallas with the implementation of ISO 9001-2000.

Satya Kudapa is a certified ISO 9001-2000 lead auditor, trained as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt champion (certification due pending projects) and a certified MSSC Instructor. He is also a member of Tau-Beta-Pi, Alpha-Pi-Mu & Phi-Beta-Delta societies.
