Kathleen
Elfrink has been with The University of Texas at Arlington’s Automation & Robotics Research Institute since 1997, working as the Director’s Administrative Assistant. Additionally, she supervises the activities of the administrative staff. At ARRI, Kathleen also serves on the Process Integration Team, the ISO 9000 Management Team, and various event committees as deemed necessary. She has received recognition for her work including ARRI’s Ruey Diamond Employee of the Year Award in 1998 and Director’s Excellence Award in 2001 as well as the UTA Staff Advisory Council’s Maverick Star Award in 2000. She has also received recognition for contributing to the establishment of the UTA/Fort Worth Campus. She is active in the UTA Staff Advisory Council as an elected representative.
Prior to coming to UTA, Kathleen worked as the Campus Secretary at McKinney Independent School’s ACT Academy for six years. Kathleen also has experience at the following companies: Luminator, Sales & Marketing Representative; Montgomery Elevator Co., Engineering Director’s Secretary; Wysong HCA Hospital, Nursing Director’s Secretary; and Baskin-Robbins, Inc., Franchise Manager’s Secretary.
She has an Associate Degree from Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas. She is currently active in Toastmaster’s organization.
