Process Automation Laboratory

This laboratory houses a variety data acquisition systems, and industrial robots useful for product testing as well product handling.

• Multi-degree of freedom ADEPT microassembly station for micro and meso-scale components.
• Adept One SCARA four-degree-of-freedom manipulator.  The system has machine vision capabilities and a reconfigurable work area.
• Adept Cobra SCARA four-degree-of-freedom manipulator.  The system has machine vision capabilities as well as communications for added degrees of freedom.  This system is capable of micro-assembly of micro and meso-scale components.
• Staubli RX-130 six-degree-of-freedom manipulator. The system has machine vision capabilities and a reconfigurable work area. The system is also capable of measuring forces generated at the end of the arm.
