Welcome to my website!
This website contains information regarding projects, research, and other activities that I am involved in for the Advanced Controls and Sensors (ACS) research group at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) Automation and Robotics Research Institute (ARRI).
I am a graduate Computer Science Engineering student at UTA. I have been working for Dr. Frank Lewis with the ACS research group at ARRI since 2006. During this time I have gained experience iin the following research areas:
Current projects include high level control of mixed UAV/UGV systems, wireless indoor localization, flapping wing MAV platforms, and add-on modules for autonomous control of existing vehicles.
In addition to lab work, I am also a graduate teaching assistant for the CSE Senior Design program. I function as consultant of sorts for team based capstone projects. The program requires teams of senior undergraduate students to develop a functional product from the requirements gathering phase all the way through implementation. Please check the teaching section of the website for some prepared tutorials and other useful items.
